Wind and rain have separate reports

Sahih Muslim 899b records a request concerning strong wind and its good or harm. Sahih al-Bukhari 1032 concerns seeing rain.

A storm may involve both, but a broad page title should not erase the source distinction. Learn what each text asks before treating them as one combined formula.

The commonly shared thunder statement

A statement associated with Ibn al-Zubayr is discussed separately in the source research. It is a companion report, not automatically a quotation of the Prophet. Quran 13:13 also mentions thunder in connection with praise.

An exact primary locator and assessment are needed before presenting that companion wording as a sourced card. This page does not silently attribute it to Muslim 899b or the rain report.

Safety during dangerous weather

Follow official warnings, shelter arrangements and relevant local advice. Do not stand in a dangerous place to perform a recitation or use a prayer to dismiss flood or lightning risk.

A personal request for safety can accompany those actions. Hardship during a storm should not be treated as proof that someone forgot a formula or lacked faith.

Common questions

Is the wind card a thunder narration? No; its occasion is strong wind. Is every thunder statement Prophetic speech? Attribution must distinguish companion reports. Will recitation replace weather precautions? No such claim is made. Where should I continue? The rain and protection pages explain those selected requests in their own settings.
