Duas before and after wudu

The selected testimony is reported after completing wudu. It should retain that occasion and wording, while questions about beginning wudu and its validity require their own evidence and instruction.

أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّدًا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ وَرَسُولُهُ
Transliteration

Ashhadu an la ilaha illallah wa anna Muhammadan ‘abdullahi wa rasuluh.

English meaning

I bear witness that there is no god except Allah and that Muhammad is Allah's servant and messenger.

The after-wudu source

Sahih Muslim 234a gives the selected testimony and its setting after purification. The source card preserves that specific variant.

A familiar addition may appear in another report. It should not be inserted silently into Muslim 234a’s quotation, and an English rendering should be read alongside the actual Arabic.

Before and after are different questions

The title includes both stages because readers often search for them together. This selected record answers the after-wudu question; it does not, by itself, supply every before-wudu narration or assess their chains.

Learn the beginning practice through a reliable wudu lesson. Keep the naming expression, the acts of washing and the after-wudu testimony conceptually separate instead of assembling an unsourced script.

Learning the complete practice

A dua card cannot establish all conditions, obligatory acts or invalidators of wudu. Those details can depend on the relevant school and the person’s circumstances.

Practise the testimony outside the washing area, then associate it with finishing. Keep water use considerate and follow suitable guidance where a medical condition affects purification.

Common questions

Is this a ghusl-specific prayer? Its stated source occasion is wudu. Is every familiar extra clause in this variant? No; check its own reference. Does forgetting the remembrance alone settle validity? A validity question requires the appropriate purification guidance. Where should I continue? The ghusl and prayer-learning guides address those separate subjects.
